Folkestone Beach

The Folkestone beach stretches along the English Channel towards the west.  It can be reached from the town centre by taking a lift or by hiking down a short footpath.

Directly below the town centre, by the beach, is a small amusement park featuring a switchback (roller coaster).

East of the Folkestone harbor, a lovely sea wall runs along the waterfront towards the white cliffs of Dover.
